Assistant Editor / Drone Pilot
Originally from Tennessee, David’s path to post-production took a few unexpected turns—starting with four years as an Aviation Electrician in the Navy before shifting from aircraft to video production. He earned a degree in Film and Video with a Photography minor from George Mason University, where he worked as an Editor and Videographer for GMU’s OSCAR program and a camera operator for the university’s sports broadcasting team.
Before joining Shine, David freelanced as an Assistant Editor and Production Assistant on documentaries and commercials, gaining hands-on experience in all things post. Now, you can find him shipping spots, tackling revisions, flying drones, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. When he’s off the clock, he’s likely immersed in a sci-fi movie, catching up on the latest TV series, or playing video games.
